Type specimen: SMNS 62785. Its type locality is Nusplingen quarry, unit C, which is in a Kimmeridgian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal lime mudstone in the Nusplingen Limestone Formation of Germany.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at Nusplingen quarry, unit C
