Type specimen: ML 368, a partial skeleton (Tooth, cervical fragment, chevron, partial pectoral girdle and forelimb). Its type locality is Vale de Pombas, which is in a Kimmeridgian terrestrial horizon in the Praia da Amoreira-Porto Novo Formation of Portugal.
