Type specimen: USNM 153581, a cephalon/head (cranidium). Its type locality is Pioche Shale, Bed 72, which is in a Delamaran carbonate limestone/shale in the Pioche Shale Formation of Nevada.

Ecology: nektobenthic carnivore

Distribution:

• Cambrian of United States (8: Nevada collections)

Total: 8 collections each including a single occurrence
