Type specimen: Poinar C-7-125, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Dominican amber, La Toca mine (Poinar coll), which is in a Burdigalian/Langhian terrestrial amber in the La Toca Formation of the Dominican Republic.

Distribution: found only at Dominican amber, La Toca mine (Poinar coll)
