Belongs to Pagetides according to W. H. Fritz 1972
Sister taxa: Pagetides antarcticus, Pagetides elegans, Pagetides fragum
Type specimen: GSC 27211, a pygidium. Its type locality is Sekwi Formation - collection 73030, which is in a Cambrian marine limestone in the Sekwi Formation of Canada.
Ecology: slow-moving epifaunal detritivore
Distribution:
• Cambrian of Canada (9: Northwest Territories collections)
Total: 9 collections each including a single occurrence
