Type specimen: AMNH 22274, a shell. Its type locality is 1 kilometer south of Taylors Falls, half kilometer north of Folsom Island, which is in a Steptoean coastal sandstone in the Franconia Formation of Minnesota.

Distribution: found only at 1 kilometer south of Taylors Falls, half kilometer north of Folsom Island
