Sister taxon: Emanuelaspis (Emanuelina) peculiaris
Type specimen: CPC 31915, a cephalon/head (cranidium). Its type locality is Section 705/182, which is in a Bendigonian marine limestone/siltstone in the Emanuel Formation of Australia.
Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal carnivore
Distribution: found only at Section 705/182
