Sister taxon: Pterotella formosa
Type specimen: PIN 4270/2787, a forewing. Its type locality is Shar-Teg, outcrop 423/6 (PIN collection 4270), which is in a Tithonian lacustrine - large claystone in the Sharteg Formation of Mongolia.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at Shar-Teg, outcrop 423/6 (PIN collection 4270)
