Type specimen: NWMNH 25022, a shell. Its type locality is Graylock section, B. oregonensis assemblage, which is in an Angulata marine limestone in the Graylock Formation of Oregon.

Ecology: fast-moving nektonic carnivore

Distribution: found only at Graylock section, B. oregonensis assemblage
