Sister taxa: Kalentera flemingi, Kalentera marwicki, Kalentera mckayi
Type specimen: NWMNH 25484. Its type locality is Ferguson Hill, section e, bed 28, which is in a Planorbis marine limestone in the Gabbs Formation of Nevada.
Ecology: facultatively mobile infaunal suspension feeder
Distribution:
• Jurassic of United States (2: Nevada collections)
• Triassic of United States (1: Nevada)
Total: 3 collections each including a single occurrence
