Type specimen: NWMNH 25362, a shell. Its type locality is New York Canyon, section b, bed G46, which is in a Rhaetian marine limestone in the Gabbs Formation of Nevada.
Ecology: nektonic carnivore
Distribution: found only at New York Canyon, section b, bed G46
