Type specimen: SUI 11967, a shell. Its type locality is New Providence Sh. Member, Coral Ridge, KY quarry, which is in a Chadian offshore shale in the Borden Formation of Kentucky.

Ecology: fast-moving nektonic carnivore

Average measurements (in mm): shell diameter 7.18

Distribution: found only at New Providence Sh. Member, Coral Ridge, KY quarry
