Type specimen: MNEMG 2009.83, a forewing. Its type locality is Thorness Bay, Bembridge Marls (MNEMG coll), which is in a Priabonian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal lime mudstone in the Bouldnor Formation of the United Kingdom.
