Sister taxa: Reticycloceras croneisi, Reticycloceras peytonense, Reticycloceras sequoyahense
Type specimen: USNM 119035, a shell. Its type locality is USGS 1487E, Pilot Mountain, which is in a Pendleian marine shale in the Fayetteville Formation of Arkansas.
Ecology: fast-moving nektonic carnivore
