Type specimen: IGM-3946, a shell. Its type locality is Mx3: Los Rebajes (Level 1), which is in a Bajocian offshore shale in the Taberna Formation of Mexico.
Ecology: fast-moving nektonic carnivore
Distribution: found only at Mx3: Los Rebajes (Level 1)
