Type specimen: INHS 10175, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Dominican amber (Illinois NHS coll), which is in a Burdigalian/Langhian terrestrial amber in the Dominican Republic.

Ecology: fast-moving ground dwelling grazer-herbivore

Distribution: found only at Dominican amber (Illinois NHS coll)
