Sister taxon: Eozacla problematica
Type specimen: USNM Kohls 138819, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Logan Wash site, locality 41236, which is in a Bridgerian lacustrine - large lime mudstone in the Green River Formation of Colorado.
Ecology: fast-moving ground dwelling herbivore
Distribution:
• Eocene of United States (4: Colorado collections)
Total: 4 collections each including a single occurrence
