Type specimen: BMNH R8578, a partial skull. Its type locality is U2, next to Peramiko-Litumba dirt road, which is in an Anisian fluvial siliciclastic in the Manda Beds Formation of Tanzania.

Distribution: found only at U2, next to Peramiko-Litumba dirt road
