Type specimen: MNHAH D-1029280, a partial skeleton (Braincase, dentary, teeth, vertebrae and partial pelvis). Its type locality is Kamitaki Bonebed Quarry, Tamba City, which is in an Albian floodplain mudstone in the Ohyamashimo Formation of Japan.

Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore

Distribution: found only at Kamitaki Bonebed Quarry, Tamba City
