Type specimen: UCMP 216164, a tooth (right [upper] M2). Its type locality is Castle Gardens, which is in a Wasatchian terrestrial mudstone in the Willwood Formation of Wyoming.
Ecology: scansorial carnivore-omnivore
Distribution: found only at Castle Gardens
