Type specimen: MPM-PV 1156, a partial skeleton. Its type locality is Cerro Fortaleza, which is in a Campanian/Maastrichtian crevasse splay sandstone/mudstone in the Cerro Fortaleza Formation of Argentina.

Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore

Distribution: found only at Cerro Fortaleza
