Type specimen: OU 40464, a test. Its type locality is J40/f90 - McCulloch's Bridge [Ashley Mudstone], which is in an Eocene deep-water mudstone in the Ashley Mudstone Formation of New Zealand.
Ecology: epifaunal detritivore-grazer
Distribution: found only at J40/f90 - McCulloch's Bridge [Ashley Mudstone]
