Type specimen: CGM 42843, a tooth (left m3). Its type locality is Quarry V (Jebel Qatrani Formation), which is in a Rupelian fluvial sandstone/mudstone in the Jebel Qatrani Formation of Egypt.

Ecology: scansorial insectivore

Distribution: found only at Quarry V (Jebel Qatrani Formation)
