Belongs to Mactromya according to A. Rosenkrantz 1934
Sister taxa: Mactromya aequalis, Mactromya cardioides, Mactromya crassa, Mactromya daghaniensis, Mactromya quadrata, Mactromya rugosa, Mactromya verioti
Type specimen: Its type locality is West of Lakse Elv, Bed 1, which is in a Pliensbachian marine sandstone in the Cape Stewart Beds Formation of Greenland
Ecology: facultatively mobile infaunal chemosymbiotic
Distribution:
• Jurassic of Greenland (21 collections)
Total: 21 collections each including a single occurrence
