Type specimen: Villalta 3697/8, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Coll de Saig (Bellver de Cerdanya, MGBV collection), which is in a Vallesian/Turolian lacustrine - small mudstone in Spain.

Distribution: found only at Coll de Saig (Bellver de Cerdanya, MGBV collection)
