Type specimen: MTR 166, a forewing. Its type locality is Monte Castellaro (MTR collection), which is in a Messinian lagoonal marl in the Gessoso-solfifera Formation of Italy.

Ecology: fast-moving volant carnivore-insectivore

Distribution: found only at Monte Castellaro (MTR collection)
