Sister taxa: Sceloenopla dominicana, Sceloenopla stainesorum

Type specimen: Poinar C7-112, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Dominican amber (Poinar coll), which is in a Burdigalian/Langhian terrestrial amber in the Dominican Republic.

Ecology:

Distribution: found only at Dominican amber (Poinar coll)
