Sister taxa: Birmanites brevicus, Birmanites hupeiensis, Birmanites kanlingensis, Birmanites latus, Birmanites qilangensis

Type specimen: NMW 2005.32G.181 (external mould of cranidium). Its type locality is 203b. Karugach Section. East side of Ayaguz River, about 7 km north of Akchii, which is in a Katian carbonate sandstone/siltstone in the Karagach Formation of Kazakhstan.

Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal carnivore

Distribution:

• Ordovician of Kazakhstan (2 collections)

Total: 2 collections each including a single occurrence
