Type specimen: OU 6685. Its type locality is Locality U. Blue Shawnee Creek, east of New Wells, which is in a Gamachian reef, buildup or bioherm limestone in the Leemon Formation of Missouri.

Distribution: found only at Locality U. Blue Shawnee Creek, east of New Wells
