Sister taxon: Isognomon (Mytiloperna) bathonica
Type specimen: GSC 112405, a valve (left valve). Its type locality is GSC loc. 19040 - Nootka Sound, which is in a Pliensbachian marine sandstone in Canada.
Ecology: stationary epifaunal suspension feeder
Distribution:
• Jurassic of Canada (3: British Columbia collections)
