Type specimen: IITR-SB 2870, a partial skeleton (partial skull and skeleton). Its type locality is Dhedidi East, which is in a Lutetian marine horizon in the Harudi Formation of India.
Ecology: aquatic carnivore
Distribution: found only at Dhedidi East
