Type specimen: CORD-PZ 2008, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is La Cantera, Sierra del Gigantea, which is in an Aptian lacustrine - small siliciclastic in the La Cantera Formation of Argentina.

Distribution: found only at La Cantera, Sierra del Gigantea
