Type specimen: CNU-COL-NN2011003, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Liutiaogou Village, Dashuangmiao Town (CNU collection), which is in a Barremian lacustrine - large mudstone in the Yixian Formation of China.

Distribution: found only at Liutiaogou Village, Dashuangmiao Town (CNU collection)
