Type specimen: FMNH Z-17-806, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is SUNY-B 411 Blenheim-Gilboa Power plant, which is in a Givetian marine sandstone in the Panther Mountain Formation of New York.

Distribution: found only at SUNY-B 411 Blenheim-Gilboa Power plant
