Type specimen: NJSM 23340. Its type locality is Hop Brook, Holmdel Township, which is in a Campanian marine sandstone in the Mount Laurel Formation of New Jersey.

Ecology: epifaunal carnivore

Distribution: found only at Hop Brook, Holmdel Township
