Type specimen: AMNH NJ-141, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is New Jersey amber, Sunrise landing, East Brunswick, which is in a Turonian terrestrial amber in the Raritan Formation of New Jersey.

Distribution: found only at New Jersey amber, Sunrise landing, East Brunswick
