Type specimen: USNM 162856, a shell. Its type locality is USNM 10802. 9100 feet ESE of Western Peak, Roberts Mountains, which is in an Eifelian marine packstone in the Denay Limestone Formation of Nevada.

Distribution: found only at USNM 10802. 9100 feet ESE of Western Peak, Roberts Mountains
