Type specimen: BNHM BCI 939098, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Chongqing Reservoir, Chonggezhuang village, Fangshan district, which is in an Aptian/Albian lacustrine mudstone in the Xiazhuang Formation of China.

Distribution: found only at Chongqing Reservoir, Chonggezhuang village, Fangshan district
