Type specimen: USNM 549408. Its type locality is Palmer Loc. 812, railroad cut south of central San Antonio, which is in a Cretaceous carbonate chalk in Cuba.

Distribution: found only at Palmer Loc. 812, railroad cut south of central San Antonio
