Type specimen: YPM VP 058267A, B, C, a set of limb elements (a nearly complete right tibia with co-ossified astragalus). Its type locality is Quarry 12, Como Bluff (YPM), which is in a Kimmeridgian/Tithonian wet floodplain claystone in the Morrison Formation of Wyoming.
Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore
Distribution: found only at Quarry 12, Como Bluff (YPM)
