Belongs to Stegnopsis according to L. Amati 2014
Sister taxa: Stegnopsis huttoni, Stegnopsis solitarius, Stegnopsis wellingensis
Type specimen: OU 11853, a cephalon/head (nearly complete, small cranidium). Its type locality is LQ-WF. Lawrence Quarry, which is in an Edenian sand shoal limestone in the Welling Formation of Oklahoma.
Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal carnivore
Distribution: found only at LQ-WF. Lawrence Quarry
