Sister taxa: Anataphrus borraeus, Anataphrus martinensis, Anataphrus megalophrys, Anataphrus spurius

Type specimen: OU 11889, a cephalon/head (nearly complete, enrolled individual). Its type locality is 77-218. Roadcut along east side of U.S. Highway 77, about 17 km south of Davis, which is in an Edenian carbonate rudstone in the Viola Springs Formation of Oklahoma.

Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal carnivore

Distribution:

• Ordovician of United States (2: Oklahoma collections)

Total: 2 collections each including a single occurrence
