Type specimen: Shanwang Fossil Protection Post SK000406, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Shanwang, Linqu County, collection SK (Shanwang Fossil Protection Post coll.), which is in a Burdigalian lacustrine - large mudstone in the Shanwang Formation of China.
