Type specimen: NIGP 24360, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is YHC 780, Xiazhuang, Xiangyun County, which is in a Bajocian terrestrial siliciclastic in the Zhanghe Formation of China.

Distribution: found only at YHC 780, Xiazhuang, Xiangyun County
