Type specimen: NIGP 24191, a shell. Its type locality is YHC713, Ma'anshan, Xiangyun County, which is in a Tuvalian marine horizon in the Luojiadashan Formation of China.
Ecology: epifaunal grazer
Distribution: found only at YHC713, Ma'anshan, Xiangyun County
