Type specimen: MOZ-PI 9418, a shell. Its type locality is VV-M-2, Vega de la Veranada, which is in a Callovian carbonate limestone in the La Manga Formation of Argentina.

Distribution: found only at VV-M-2, Vega de la Veranada
