Belongs to Oiophyllites according to L. F. Spath 1953
Sister taxon: Oiophyllites angolaensis
Type specimen: BMNH C.22682, a shell. Its type locality is D.432.2, Lachman Crags South, which is in a Campanian marine siliciclastic in Antarctica.
Ecology: fast-moving nektonic carnivore
Distribution:
• Cretaceous of Antarctica (2 collections)
Total: 2 collections each including a single occurrence
