Sister taxa: Lophoceras bifrons, Lophoceras eichwaldi, Lophoceras okense, Lophoceras pentagonum, Lophoceras regulus
Type specimen: PIN 1192/2, a shell. Its type locality is Kossovskiy quarry, which is in a Brigantian marine horizon in the Russian Federation.
Ecology: nektobenthic carnivore

Distribution:
• Carboniferous of the Russian Federation (2 collections)
