Sister taxon: Indophis sahnii
Type specimen: UA 9942, a set of vertebrae (Posterior trunk vertebra). Its type locality is MAD10-24, Lac Kinkony, which is in a Maastrichtian terrestrial sandstone in the Maevarano Formation of Madagascar.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at MAD10-24, Lac Kinkony
