Type specimen: Holotype: LT330 (LT337 is the counterpart), stored in the Department of Plant Science, University of Tasmania., a cuticle (Leaves). Its type locality is Lemonthyme Creek, which is in an Oligocene lacustrine siltstone/claystone in Australia.
Ecology: "photoautotroph"
Distribution: found only at Lemonthyme Creek
